Magstarai Bichons My Bichon pets and show dogs. These endearing little dogs apparently originated from mainland Spain. They date back to the time of Cleopatra. It is said that Spanish sailors took these little dogs aboard their ships and took them to Tenerife and there, for centuries they were known as the Bichon Tenerife. These little dogs were used to sell or to barter for gifts. The Bichon Tenerife was also depicted in portraits of the French aristocracy in 16th century Spain. |
